YYC: It’s All About People
Whether you are travelling in a large group or as a single passenger, we want you to enjoy your experience at the Calgary International Airport (YYC). That’s why we offer a range of complimentary services specifically designed to enhance your time with us.
It all starts with our White Hat Volunteers, who are a true testament to Calgary’s warm western hospitality. Their enthusiasm, dedication, genuine care, and desire to go the extra mile, make YYC one of the friendliest airports in the world!
You’ll find them throughout the airport, dressed in their traditional white Stetsons and red vests. They perform the world-famous White Hat Ceremony – the official welcoming of visitors to Calgary, assist with welcoming conferences and conventions, shuttle visitors in the Club Cars, host in the Visitor Reception Centre, and answer questions at the four kiosk locations and throughout the airport. But most importantly, they are a touchstone in what can often be a very busy place.
