Airport Development Program Update

June 30, 2015   |

Expansion work continues at Calgary International Airport (YYC) as part of our ongoing Airport Development Program (ADP), focusing on the new International Terminal while, as well in Q2, we celebrated the first anniversary of the opening of Canada’s longest runway last June.

The ADP, a more than $2 billion investment, encompasses both the new International Terminal and the new parallel runway that opened a year ago. It is the largest and most ambitious expansion program in the history of Calgary International Airport, and supports YYC’s position as Alberta’s aviation hub of choice and ensures Calgary International Airport is able to accommodate future growth. YYC is a hub of economic activity, a trusted neighbor, a gateway to possibilities and a place where people, purpose and commerce connect – welcoming 15.26 million passengers in 2014.
