Calgary, AB – The Calgary Airport Authority invites the public and stakeholders to attend its 2011 Annual General Meeting. Attendees will be informed on the progress of the previous year’s initiatives, as well as current developments. Additionally, the Authority will provide an update on YYC’s growth and development with the commencement of the Airport Development Program.

The Authority’s Board of Directors and Management will report on the 2010 year including operations, development, construction, marketing and financial results. An outlook for 2011 and beyond will also be provided by Garth Atkinson, President and CEO of the Authority.
The Calgary Airport Authority is a not-for-profit, non-share capital corporation incorporated under the Alberta Regional Airports Authorities Act. Since 1992, it has been responsible for the management, maintenance and development of Calgary International Airport and Springbank Airport under long-term lease from the Government of Canada.
