Commenting Fred DiBenedetto, President and COO Servisair/GlobeGround stated: "Servisair/GlobeGround is extremely pleased to receive this opportunity provided by the Calgary Airport Authority. We appreciate the chance to bridge our network of premium quality common use lounges from Europe to North America. Our vision is to develop a National network of lounges for Canadian travellers who want a comfortable place to relax or work prior to boarding their flights. We believe that providing this service also allows airlines an opportunity to offer lounge services in locations where they do not currently have exclusive use facilities. We look forward to working with the Calgary team to bring this vision to reality before springtime travel begins."

Julien De Schutter, Vice President Marketing for the Calgary Airport Authority commented: “This first-ever North American common-use lounge agreement with Servisair/GlobeGround represents an important addition to the service amenities available to users of our most recently added Concourse D. Passengers on airlines using this Concourse will have an opportunity to enjoy an ultra-convenient, premium business lounge facility when departing or connecting via Calgary International Airport. We see this as an excellent addition to our thriving airport”.
