Rocky Mountain Lounge Officially Opens at YYC

Servisair is today celebrating the official opening of their new premium quality ‘All Access’/ ‘Common Use’ Lounge and Business Centre at YYC.

The stylish 240m² Rocky Mountain Lounge opened to the public July 30, 2009 in the Canada/U.S.A. transborder area – Hall C.

Calgary Rocky Mountain Lounge enables all departing passengers who fly to the U.S.A. the opportunity to enjoy high quality surroundings and business facilities, irrespective of the airline they are travelling, their class of travel or their destination.

The new Lounge provides seating for 90 passengers and offers a range of exclusive services including:

  • Comfortable Seating
  • Complimentary beers, wines and spirits, beverages
  • Snacks
  • Free WIFI Internet access
  • Flight Information
  • Business facilities with 2 PCs, printer and telephones
  • Television
  • Newspapers & Magazines
  • Restrooms

“YYC airport studies have indicated a large interest in such services, thus the Rocky Mountain Lounge is a natural extension to our service offering at YYC”, says Gary Ogden, Servisair’s Vice-President, Business Development, the Americas. “In addition, the Transborder market being very mature for Lounge services, these new facilities give a great opportunity to the Airlines flying to the US to reward their most loyal seasoned-travelers”.

Servisair also operates the state-of-the-art Chinook Lounge at Calgary International Airport, which is located on Concourse D, after security and accessible to all passengers flying to domestic or international destinations from Hall D.
