Making Moments at YYC Memorable, Starting on the Curb

Look for our Curbside Ambassadors — decked out in their red jackets and cowboy hats — as you drive up to the curb at Calgary International Airport (YYC). These individuals are there to help inform, educate, engage and assist all arriving or departing passengers on the curb.

The Curbside Ambassadors are focused on delivering an outstanding customer service experience for the millions of passengers that use YYC each year, and act as the first-stop resource for all parking and curb information, baggage assistance if required, and ensuring that the roadway continues to be a safe environment for all vehicles and passengers.

In addition to the Curbside Ambassadors, more than 150 Customer Care Ambassadors are on the job inside the terminal. Passengers entering the terminal building from the roadway, can call upon a Customer Care Ambassador to guide them through the various self-serve options including Automated Border Clearance (ABC) and Automatic Passport Control (APC). The Ambassadors will also drive the YYC LINK passenger shuttle between all concourses, answer questions at our InfoCentres and help passengers with a smooth arrival into Calgary or to catch a connecting flight.

Our world-famous White Hat volunteers are also available throughout the airport to help answer questions and help travellers navigate the expanded terminal facilities at YYC.
