YYC Recognizes Pride Week

Friday, August 25, 2017 0 Uncategorized

YYC Calgary International Airport is proud to recognize Calgary Pride with several in-terminal activities and volunteer initiatives taking place throughout the airport terminal. In addition to adding the Pride flag to our main entrance, from August 25 – September 3, we are recognizing the week with the colours of Pride throughout the terminal, and will be giving out Pride tattoos to guests and travellers arriving into Calgary today and next week.

Some of our very own YYC Crew members will be walking in the Parade as part of Pride’s Glitter Team. The Crew are excited to play a part in Calgary Pride as part of this parade marshalling group.

And while we’re proud to play a part in recognizing Calgary for Pride week, we know there are many activities for Calgarians and guests to the city to take part in – many of which start this evening and throughout the weekend. If you’re looking for some ways to participate in Calgary’s annual Pride week, check out the below upcoming initiatives.
