Great news for Calgary travellers as they plan their next getaway to the Windy City! Starting today, American Airlines has begun direct seasonal service between YYC Calgary International Airport (YYC) and its Chicago O'Hare (ORD) hub. The new service will offer more than 1,000 seats per month between both cities, throughout the summer season.
Chicago now becomes American Airlines’ second destination from Calgary after Dallas/Fort Worth. These additional flights showcase the fabulous economic growth and development happening at our world-renowned airport as we continue to drive our exceptional airline and client relationships.
YYC-ORD flights will:
- Use the 76-seat Embraer E-175 aircraft
- Offer a Business Class cabin
- Have Main Cabin Extra seating
- Have Wi-Fi connectivity
This new YYC-ORD route also provides our guests access to American Airlines’ extensive network of more than 130 destinations throughout the United States, Europe, Mexico and the Caribbean – so feel free to dream of your next destination and make it happen!
