NAV CANADA is planning updates for some arrival procedures at YYC. The changes affect a specific type of approach - known as Required Navigation Performance (RNP) procedures.

Upcoming runway maintenance work - June 15 to 17, 2018

After discussions with NAV CANADA and the Airport Community Consultative Committee (ACCC), we have decided to extend the trial for a full year until Sunday October 14, 2018.

On Saturday, October 14, 2017, the Calgary Airport Authority launched a six-month Runway Usage Trial that will look to improve the balance of aircraft departures of the southerly runways (17L and 17R) over the weekends.
