Calgary, AB. – The Calgary Airport Authority and its Attractions Alberta partners unveiled five new baggage carousels displays today at Calgary International Airport. These world famous displays provide a preview of the many beautiful destinations and attractions for visitors to Alberta.
New to the airport’s Attraction Alberta partnership is the Bow Habitat Station, displaying a unique new "eco-park" for visitors and travellers at Calgary International Airport. The Bow Habitat display was created to educate visitors about Alberta's fish, water and aquatic habitats.
The Calgary Exhibition & Stampede’s new faux bronze sculpture display is a creative collaboration between the Stampede and Studio Y Creations. It captures the romance of the west while showcasing signature Stampede events, just in time for Stampede 2005!
Also renewing for another five years is Parks Canada with a new display entitled – “Journeys - Then and Now”. The exhibit features a number of historically significant figures whose travels lead the way for all who will visit the national parks and national historic sites of Alberta and eastern British Columbia.
The Royal Tyrrell Museum presents 3.9 billion years of life in a dynamic and dramatic display that will spark curiosity, dispel myths, and encourage life-long learning. The display is sure to create a sense of curiosity and play for the many travellers at Calgary International Airport.
Often referred to as one or Canada’s best ski resorts, Banff-Lake Louise-Sunshine promises memorable skiing and snowboarding amidst the world's most awesome scenery. Their unique display of these world-renowned slopes will entice even the most experienced skiers.
