iStore Opens at YYC

LS travel retail North America and Boutique iStore Canada are pleased to announce the opening of the mobile digital lifestyle destination concept: iStore at Calgary International Airport (YYC). Opening today - February 9 - in Concourse A, the store will provide YYC guests with a wide range of personal mobile electronic hardware and accessories, including - among others - laptops, tablets, e-readers, cameras, and portable games, from leading brands Apple, Sony, Monster, Sennheiser, Kobo, Targus, and many more.

Owned by Montreal-based Boutique iStore Canada, the iStore brand is developed and operated in airports by LS travel retail North America, a leading North American travel retail operator. A little over a year after signing an exclusive agreement, the two companies already have seven locations in operation in four airports. The very first U.S. iStore will open at Boston-Logan early in March with additional U.S. locations planned for later in 2012.

In addition, LS travel retail and ZoomSystems recently unveiled the first iStore Express at Calgary International Airport Terminal D - an innovative automated retail shop that use touch screens, patented dispensing technology and back-end software to offer travelers the latest electronic hardware and accessories, while delivering a new customer experience that combine online and traditional store shopping.
