The Calgary Airport Authority is pleased to once again be named as one of Alberta’s Top Employers by Mediacorp Canada Inc. This special designation recognizes employers that lead their industries in offering exceptional places to work. The Authority’s commitment to creating a dynamic work environment was also recognized by Mediacorp in 2009, 2011 and 2012.

“The Authority offers a number of employee programs that help us attract and retain a dedicated group of individuals who are passionate about making YYC one of the leading airports in Canada,” said Cynthia Tremblay, Senior Director of Human Resources for The Calgary Airport Authority. “A key element to our success is the input we get from our YYC Crew. Their invaluable feedback has been instrumental in building programs that meet our employees’ needs.”

This distinction solidifies the hard work and dedication of the Authority and its YYC Crew in creating the vibrant workplace it is today. Some of the Authority’s key offerings include: a competitive compensation program, ongoing professional development opportunities, an employee-led community engagement program, and a peer-to-peer recognition program.

The Calgary Airport Authority is a not-for-profit, non-share capital corporation incorporated under the Alberta Regional Airports Authorities Act. Since 1992, it has been responsible for the management, maintenance and development of Calgary International Airport and Springbank Airport (1997) under long-term lease from the Government of Canada.
