Travel Requirements

Know the travel requirements of your destination and what you’ll need to return to Canada.

Effective June 20:

  • Unvaccinated or partially-vaccinated travellers eligible to enter Canada will continue to be tested upon arrival. 
  • Domestic travellers and departing guests no longer need to be vaccinated to board a flight in Canada. Visit the Government of Canada’s website for more info.
  • Employees, contractors, visitors on-site for meetings and media no longer need to be vaccinated or carry proof of vaccination.
  • Masks are required by Transport Canada at security screening checkpoints, while boarding, disembarking and for the duration of a flight, and in the Canadian customs and border processing area. Find more info in Transport Canada’s website (tc.canada.ca).

U.S. & International Arrivals

  • For more information on Canada's border measures and travel requirements from the Government of Canada, visit its website.
  • Submit mandatory travel information using the ArriveCAN app or website version, up to three days before arrival.
  • Effective June 20, unvaccinated or partially-vaccinated travellers eligible to enter Canada will continue to be tested upon arrival. See the Government of Canada’s announcement. You can register for arrival testing in advance to speed up your testing upon arrival.

U.S. & International Departures

  • Verify your final destination’s government travel requirements and exemptions to ensure you have all necessary documentation including required COVID-19 test results and proof of vaccination.

Domestic Arrivals & Departures

  • Effective June 20, proof of vaccination against COVID-19 to board a flight within Canada is no longer required. See the Government of Canada’s announcement
  • Guests and staff need to wear a mask in the airport and during their flight. Find more info in Transport Canada’s media release or FAQ page.

  • À partir du 28 février 2022. les Canadiens peuvent désormais effectuer des voyages non essentiels.
  • À partir du 30 octobre 2021, tous les voyageurs âgés de 12 ans et quatre mois et plus doivent être en mesure de prouver qu’ils sont pleinement vaccinés contre la COVID-19 pour monter à bord les vols du Canada.
