Account setup

Do I have to create an account to book parking?

No, you will still be able to access your reservation without an account by using your reservation number and your email address. If you are a frequent user of the YYC Reserved Parking system, for ease and convenience, we recommend creating an account. With a YYC Reserved Parking Account, you will receive emails and updates on any promotional offers.

When trying to create an account, why doesn’t my email work? 

Check and make sure that there are no spaces at the end of either email address.  If so, remove and try again. 

Making a reservation

What if the parking lot is full for the dates that I have selected?

Please make your booking for another parking lot. You can also check back periodically and see if there have been any cancellations in the original lot you wanted.  To make sure you get the parking lot of your choice - we recommend you book early.

How do I cancel my reservation?

You can cancel your reservation up to two hours before your arrival.  Go to the YYC Reserved Parking page and open your account (if you’ve registered) or enter your email and reservation number and look for the CANCEL PARKING button. A $10 fee will be charged to cover transaction costs when a reservation is cancelled.  There are no fees when you make your reservation. 

How do I extend a reservation?  

Reservation can be changed extended, cancelled or amended up to two hours before your reservation start time. After that time, you are unable to change the reservation.  

Reservations cannot be changed once you have used the barcode, entered the parking lot or if you are within two hours of your reservation time. 
See a customer service representative at exit one when you depart.

What happens if I am late for my reservation?

If you arrive late to the parkade and have not exceeded the end date you can still enter using your barcode. 

Can I make a reservation on the same day I am parking? 

Yes, but you must make the reservation two hours before you enter the gate. 

How far in the future can I book my parking reservation?

Reservations can be booked up to 12 months in advance. So remember to book your parking when you book your airline ticket. 

How do I leave the parking lot at the end of my trip?

Make sure that you have your reservation, either in paper or on your smartphone. You will need to scan the barcode at the exit.  

Using the barcode

What if the barcode on my phone does not work? 

To successfully scan your reservation on your phone, hold the barcode in front of the barcode reader and ensure the brightness on your phone is at the highest setting. If the gate doesn't open, try adjusting the tilt of your cell phone. Additionally, turn off the dark mode on your smartphone if it is activated. If this doesn’t work, press the HELP button. Do not press the ticket button. 

How can I reprint my reservation?

If you have an account, log in and go to My Account and scroll down the page.  You will find your reservations listed there.  Select your reservation, and on the top right-hand corner, you will see the QR code.  

Without an account, you will need your reservation number and your email address. If you don’t have either of those please call 403-250-7275 (PARK).

Do I have to have a paper copy of my reservation to flag into the parking lot?

You can get into the parking lot using either a paper copy or digital copy on your smartphone of your reservation. 

Parking rates

What if I am late returning from my trip?

If you are late returning from your trip, it is classified as an overstay. An overstay (going beyond your reservation end date and time) may be charged at the normal drive-up rate. Check parking pages for drive up rates. Users will be given a buffer, and can approach a customer service agent at the exit if they were delayed. 

How are parking charges calculated? 

Parking charges are calculated on an hourly basis to a maximum of $29.34, including GST for each day.  Weekly rates are discounted if you book online and will depend on the time of year and whether you have a promotion code. 

Accessible and electric vehicle parking

Can I reserve my accessible parking? 

YYC has 92 accessible parking spaces. Accessible parking spaces are on every floor of the parkade located near each of the following elevators:

  • P1 – Short Term, L2, L4  (Long Term is near elevator lobbies, Short Term is along the side closest to terminal)
  • P2 – Short Term, L2 – L6 (Long Term is near elevator lobbies, Short Term is along the side closest to terminal)
  • Overheight – Close to entry of facility near P1
  • Economy – South side of lot closest to terminal

YYC does not guarantee the availability of these spots as they are first-come, first-serve. 

I have an electric vehicle (EV); are there charging stations? 

We have 12 EV spots available located on the 4th floor of our P1 Domestic Parkade. These spots are not reservable and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Electricity is included with paid parking.

Are there any sales or promotional rates on reserved parking? 

Yes, sign up for an account and select to receive email updates on events and promotions that are available.
