Parkade_for_web.jpg
The Calgary Airport Authority has commenced construction on a new 1900 stall Parkade facility, initiating the first of several major 10-year development projects designed to keep pace with the more than 12.2 million travellers at Calgary International Airport.
This second, multi-level Parkade facility, scheduled for completion by December 2009, will be located east of the Delta Calgary Airport Hotel and will increase the number of available parking stalls to more than 5000.

In addition to meeting current demand for additional covered parking adjacent to the terminal, the new $85M Parkade will also serve as the first of the new Parkades for the new East Concourse, which is currently in preliminary design to accommodate international passenger growth at YYC.

Parkade construction partners include Read Jones Christofferson Ltd., Gibbs Gage Architects and Ellis Don Construction Services Inc.
