Airside Vehicle Operators Permit (AVOP) Office
Calgary International Airport's (YYC) AVOP Office, managed by Calgary Airports, certifies airport employees to drive airside, giving them authorization to drive on aprons, taxiways, and runways. YYC's Airside Traffic Directives and AVOP Manual apply to all personnel working airside . Those individuals are required to know and comply with all applicable airside policies and procedures.

All appointments for the AVOP Office need to be booked through our online system. Walk-in appointments are not offered. If you are more than ten (10) minutes late for your appointment, you will be required to rebook.

Cancellations: Cancellations 24-hours before the scheduled appointment can be completed through the booking confirmation email. Cancellations made less than 24-hours before the scheduled appointment may be subject to a $100.00 fee. All no-call, no-show appointments will be subject to a $100.00 fee.
Parking Validations: Terminal parking will be validated for individuals who do not already have employee parking.
