At YYC, we’re lucky to have amazing people who make a difference every day, and Jonida is one of them. As the holiday season approaches, we want to celebrate her dedication, kindness, and the incredible impact she has on our community.
For the past few years, Jonida has worked closely with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to lead the Salvation Army toy drive, ensuring the holidays are brighter for children in need. Her collaboration with airport departments and her commitment to growing the drive each year have created a ripple effect of generosity throughout YYC.
But Jonida’s efforts go far beyond the holiday season. She’s passionate about listening to the unique needs of YYC’s guests and finding the best ways to help them. Whether it’s answering a question, solving a challenge, or simply brightening someone’s day, Jonida is always looking for opportunities to improve the guest experience. Her favorite part of working at YYC? The variety and excitement that each day brings.
Jonida also has a great travel tip for passengers: “Arrive early and check your flight status on yyc.com or with your airline before you leave home. It makes the whole process smoother!”
Her leadership, compassion, and positive attitude are an inspiration to all of us. Jonida exemplifies what it means to be a holiday hero and a dedicated member of the YYC community.
Thank you, Jonida, for everything you do to make YYC a welcoming, joyful place for everyone who walks through our doors. You remind us all of the power of kindness and the importance of going the extra mile.
