YYC Express

Skip to the front of the security line with YYC Express.

YYC Express is a free reservation program that gives guests who have booked ahead expedited access to security screening (no membership required).

How it works:

1. Schedule your appointment up to 72 hours before your scheduled departure or reserve when you arrive at the airport using the button below.
2. Select the airline you're flying with, destination and flight number along with your name, number of people in your party and contact information to save your spot.
3. You'll receive a QR code that you can use when you arrive at your scheduled time. Check your email for a copy that you can return to later.
4. Once your appointment time arrives, head to your assigned checkpoint and look for the virtual line logo. YYC Express is available at Security D and E. Show airport staff your QR code, and you’re ready to go through screening.

Please note: Reservations and walk-up appointments for all airline guests are available for departing and general screening guests daily at Security D: 6 a.m. to 12 p.m., and Security E: 4 a.m. to 12 p.m. We offer a 15-minute grace period per appointment time. If you are more than 15 minutes late, we kindly ask you to reschedule.

CATSA Verified Traveller program

This program allows travellers who have undergone extensive background checks to enjoy added benefits and faster security screening at checkpoints across Canada.

Eligible travellers are encouraged to make their way to Pre-Board Screening C to take advantage of all the benefits of the Verified Traveller Program. Pre-Board Screening A, B, D and E have a designated queue for Verified Travellers. Visit CATSA website for more information.
