CALGARY – Calgary Airports is updating the Airport Facility Charge (AFC) applied to car rentals at Calgary International Airport (YYC).
Effective July 1, 2026, the AFC will increase from $6 to $10 per rental day. The updated charge will be reflected on car rental invoices for vehicles rented at YYC.
Revenue collected through the AFC helps support airport infrastructure projects, including a potential future rental car facility designed to improve efficiency and the overall guest experience.
YYC continues to plan and invest responsibly to meet the needs of travellers today while preparing for future growth.
