Calgary, Alberta – YYC Calgary International Airport (YYC) set a new daily passenger departure record of over 27,600 earlier this month.

“During our planning for this year’s busy summer travel season, we anticipated passenger traffic to be near pre-pandemic numbers,” said Bob Sartor, President & CEO, The Calgary Airport Authority. “And on Sunday, July 16, we had our busiest day ever for departing passengers. These numbers signal a resurgence in air travel, and we are ready to welcome guests and help facilitate an exceptional experience.”

With over 80 shopping and dining options and more than 90 non-stop destinations to choose from - and more growth on the horizon – YYC continues to elevate guests’ experience.
